Watch out for Rota Wheels counterfeits

G-FORCE by Rota (my fave) Source
Yes, this is bad news. But I gotta admit, I love how huge Rota Wheels has gotten. I remember back in the day when everyone was skeptical about the quality of Rota just because it was made locally. How sad is that? But now, Rota rims are used and trusted internationally. Plus, counterfeits are already circulating. Amazing. I mean it's not, but you know what I mean.

So be careful. Double check if you're getting legit Rota Wheels. Let's help them fight this. PHDM yo.

Air Spencer baby!

This is the strangest photo I've ever added filters to.

I finally got one!

It's just a car air freshener. He he! But it's made in Japan (JDM yo!) so that makes it the coolest car air freshener in the face of the planet. Plus, it smells really good. I got the one named "Happy", it smells like baby powder. None of that pine tree citrus-y crap. I feel nauseated just thinking about it.

I've wanted one for the longest time but I kept putting it off because I think it's pricey. It's around P245.00 a piece at Blade. I know right? I wonder if they sell these at Banawe. Well anyway, I think it's worth the price. In my head, it adds about 3 HP to your car so go get one. Ha ha!

Chai earned a zip tying badge!

Yay! Earned my zip tying badge today thanks to Tweety (my Dad's Honda City).

I heard the sound of hard plastic dragging across the road when my Dad pulled in the garage last night. The splash guard loosened for some reason and half of it was already on the floor. My Dad wanted to take it to Rapide pa but I didn't let him. I was excited to go under a car for the first time and use my blue zip ties. I remember spending about 30 minutes at Ace Hardware deciding what color to get when I bought those. Ha ha!

The Toyota Vios 2013

When I first saw it I really wasn't impressed. Because all I noticed was how it looked like a rip off of Mitsubishi Lancer's aggressive open-mouthed face. Didn't care about the specs, all I knew was they bit Mitsu's design so I didn't want to know more. Ha ha!

But one day I was in Market! Market! mall in Taguig (on a date. Yiiiheee! I remember that date, it was nice. Ok, back to Vios...), we came across one of those things where car companies rent a space to show off their new models. Toyota was there and there it was...

Cruven

I went to Cruven (Sucat) for the first time last week. A shop that specializes on rebuilding certain suspension parts for your car. Yes, rebuild. Meaning, it'll cost you way less than replacing. Pretty awesome. Too bad my friend needed his Accord's Tie Rod replaced. I was a bit bummed I didn't get to see anything rebuilt. He he! It would've been awesome to see the difference. The tie rod replacement took about an hour and it was done. It only felt like 30 minutes though because their lounge was air-conditioned and had free wifi. Nice.
